The Keighley Bus Museum Trust was founded in 1992 with it’s primary aim to preserve historic buses from predominantly the Yorkshire region. Our collection has grown to around 100 vehicles, but now includes coaches, lorries and ancilliary vehicles. We are a Registered Charity numbered 1060457.

What benefits do Members receive?

By joining the Trust, you’ll receive free copies of our quarterly magazine – ‘KBMT News’ which provides updates on all aspects of the Trust’s activities, including restoration of vehicles, events and Museum developments. In addition, Members are invited to contribute to our Magazine and share their thoughts ,knowledge and stories with our wider Membership. We welcome Members from all groups and of all ages.

All Members get the opportunity to help with our events which take place at both the Museum itself and at local areas bordering Keighley. As a Member, you’ll get free entry to our Museum at all times and have the opportunity to travel free on our buses when attending events and other rallies held at similar Transport Museums or attractions. We occasionally run Members specials to other areas outside the Yorkshire Region which all Members are invited to join in and come along.

As a Member, can I get involved volunteering for KBMT?

Yes, certainly. As a Member, you can always get involved and help with the day to day running of Keighley Bus Museum Trust. You don’t need to have a background in the Transport industry, but can assist with a wide range of activities from organising events to taking an active role restoring our historic collection of vehicles and ultimately driving them! There is always something to do, no matter what your skills or knowledge or the amount of time you can commit – it all helps.

The Trust is entirely owned, managed and run by it’s volunteers, so your help is essential.
